Comparative studies, both building-to-building and existing versus new construction, are conducted using industry standards, such as a Facility Condition Index.

The data can be placed into a computerized data source tool that allows for the ultimate flexibility in sorting and producing customized reports. The collected data can then be leveraged using a computerized database tool that empowers the owner to develop and update a capital plan reflecting contemporary conditions.
