Since our first major work
on the East Boston Expressway in 1946, Edwards and Kelcey's reputation
for engineering excellence has been enhanced by successful highway
and roadway projects nationwide. Over the next decade, we planned,
designed and supervised the construction of the New Jersey Turnpike
and Garden State Parkway , the New York State Thruway, and the Connecticut
Turnpike. More recently, our signature projects include awarding-winning
work on Chicago's South Lake Shore Drive; traffic control systems
design for New Jersey's Route I-80 MAGIC program; engineering design
for multilevel interchanges in Houston; and design and construction
services for Boston's Central Artery/Tunnel.

Edwards and Kelcey's engineers
develop designs that consider cost, constructibility, safety, usability,
revenue maintenance, aesthetics, and operations and maintenance,
while seizing opportunities to deploy innovative solutions, advanced
technologies, and value engineering strategies. We design roadway
alignments and provide traffic maintenance and traffic signalization
plans, utility relocations, stormwater management, soil erosion
control, drainage, right-of-way mapping, Intelligent Transportation
Systems (ITS), retaining walls, and construction support services
that provide solutions to an ever-changing environment.
