EK has created a comprehensive
program and educational environment where staff members can enhance
their personal and technical skills development. This program within
our company is called EK University. It consists of three sections:
Project Management Training, Leadership Development and Technical
Training.
The customized one-year Project Management Training course uses
discussion techniques and actual case studies. Over 200 people are
currently enrolled in this course that is conducted simultaneously
in all EK regional offices.
In our Leadership Development course, the ability to deal effectively
with people in EK's dynamic teamwork environment is taught, building
professionalism and high performance. This excellent graduate-school-level
course is conducted by a professor of Organizational Development
in the Department of Management at the W. Paul Stillman School of
Business, Seton Hall University. Offered twice a year, over 100
people have taken this course.
The third section of EK University, Technical Training, is offered
internally by in-house experts and externally through attendance
at EK-sponsored seminars and courses.
